This client has almost daily updates to their website content; everything from class schedule, to events, workshops and teachers all need to be added, edited, or deleted quite often. The site was designed so that the client or staff simply adds a Post for new content, and indicates which Category it belongs to (Workshop, Event, Teacher, Blog, etc.). The Post will then display on the proper Page, based on the Category indicated. This is a very powerful tool, designed to be very easy to use. I am training the client on how to create Posts, upload images and content, and how to edit existing Posts. I have also added a section in the Dashboard that contains helpful instructional videos, so my client can refer to them when working on the site. The site contains the very cool “Tippy” plug-in, which displays a fly-out description panel (see the Class Schedule page and hover over a Class listing). There is a Glossary sidebar (see Class Quotes and Yoga Terms page, right sidebar) which I think is a nice feature; Facebook is integrated, as is the email newsletter sign-up form. I really enjoyed creating this site for Bodyworks Yoga and I know they will use it as a marketing tool to bring in more yoga students to the studio, cause THAT’S what it’s all about!! (and you thought the Hokey Pokey was what it’s all about, didn’t you?).

I’ve taken yoga classes at Bodyworks, it’s a fabulous studio and you’ve done an amazing job with their website. I don’t know why anyone would want to rely on an IT person to make changes to their website or blog. Training your clients is such an empowering gift. Great job! Someday when I grow up to be a big blog, I want to hire you : )
Hey, thanks!! PS: I like your email handle…this Mama Loves the Beach, too! Have a fabulous day!! Love, Girl Friday
